Figgy Delight
TeaCha's Notes:
Lets get "figgy" with it! This black and green blend is sure to be your summer favorite. Black and green tea blends are hard to find. The dry leaves are so beautiful and filled with a delightful aroma. An exciting fact about this tea, the black tea is a Sencha which is typically green. The fig pieces give it a full rich flavor when served hot. When served iced, it has a bright and refreshing taste.

This is an outstanding creation with an excellent base with black and green tea. The highlight, by far, is the large portion of our black Chinese Sencha, which is unique in its optic as well as in its taste. Large fig quarters amidst bright blue cornflower blossoms are a thrilling sight. The flavor of this delicate tea enchants us with notes of sweet figs and encourages us to pause and enjoy the moment.
Recommendation:
If serving this iced, consider using an extra 1 1/2 teaspoon of tea for every 6 – 8 ounces of water to provide more flavor. Melting ice will dilute the blend. Or consider cold steeping this blend. To cold steep, put the appropriate amount of tea and water into a pitcher and let steep in the refrigerator for about 1 1/2 hours. Remove the tea leaves and voila, your tea is cold and ready to drink.
