Marzipan Walnut Rose
TeaCha's Notes:
This tea brings back memories of times spent with my family in Germany. This is a smooth, warm, rich black tea. Of course I'm a little biased as I am crazy about a good marzipan. The roses and walnuts really add to the blend making the marzipan sparkle. Served hot, the rose notes stand out while the walnuts and marzipan dance around the background.
Price range: $2.00 through $46.99
Almond and roses kissed with the nuttiness of walnuts elegantly swirl together with this rich black tea. Beautiful rosebuds and full walnuts are sprinkled about. This tea has a beautiful balance with distinguished flavors.
Recommendation:
If serving this tea iced, consider using an extra 1 1/2 teaspoon of tea for every 6 – 8 ounces of water to provide more flavor. Melting ice will dilute the blend. You can also cold steep to maximize the flavor by filling a pitcher with the appropriate tepid water. Add the suggested amount of tea leaves either in a tea bag or an infuser and put the pitcher into the refrigerator for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Taste the tea and if it’s to your liking, remove the tea leaves and serve.
