What a special treat it was to find this black tea blend. Nutty, floral and sweet, just like a Macaroon without the calories and full of flavor. The dry leaves create a relaxing aroma that whisks you away from the madness. I think I'll have to pair this with a Macaroon regardless of the calories. This will make a great special spring/summer event tea. Served iced or hot.

Black tea, a couple of almonds and pretty deep blue violet flowers become a trendsetter with this nutty, floral and sweet cuppa. Just like the spectacularly colored round Macaroon, this black tea will add a bit of pleasure for your “Me Moments.”
If serving this tea iced, consider using an extra 1 1/2 teaspoon of tea for every 6 – 8 ounces of water to provide more flavor. Melting ice will dilute the blend. You can also cold steep to maximize the flavor by filling a pitcher with the appropriate tepid water. Add the suggested amount of tea leaves either in a tea bag or an infuser and put the pitcher into the refrigerator for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Taste the tea and if it’s to your liking, remove the tea leaves and serve.
