Pumpkin Spice

It's been a long journey to find a pumpkin tea that I wanted to add to my collection. I just love the brightness of this robust black tea. It's spices are pronounced but not heavy. The blend is well balanced, not overpowering with cinnamon and clove. The aroma is amazing, leading with lovely pumpkin notes followed by the wafting spices. This tea will get you in the fall spirit.

Fresh pumpkin tap dances its way to mingle with amazing spices in this hardy black tea.  Cinnamon, clove, cardamom, ginger and chicory root know how to throw a party, never letting the pumpkin dance alone. A bit of currant notes add fruitiness to the pumpkin when served hot. The flavor holds up nicely when served iced.


If serving this tea iced, consider using an extra 1 1/2 teaspoon of tea for every 6 – 8 ounces of water to provide more flavor. Melting ice will dilute the blend. You can also cold steep to maximize the flavor by filling a pitcher with the appropriate tepid water. Add the suggested amount of tea leaves either in a tea bag or an infuser and put the pitcher into the refrigerator for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Taste the tea and if it’s to your liking, remove the tea leaves and serve.

(1 1/2 tsp (6 gr) to 6-8 oz water)
3-5 minutes 205-208°F
